Whistler Real Estate Experiences a Balanced Market
Whistler properties sales improved in November compared to the previous two months. Whistler reports that the number of property sales totaled 47 in November 2010. This represents an increase compared to 35 sales in October 2010 and an increase from the 45 sales in November 2009.
Looking back further, last month’s sales represent an increase over the 22 sales in November 2008, a decline compared to November 2007’s 69 sales and an increase compared to 38 sales in November 2006.
“Sales numbers were fairly typical for a November and indicate a fairly balanced market. Activity on the buyer side has been stable, with slight increases, over the last couple months while the number of properties listed for sale in Whistler has declined slightly.

Whistler 10 year overview
Whistler's housing market rebound at the end of 2009 capped decade-long growth that saw a 123 per cent increase in assessed values from 2000 to 2010, according to a new report from Landcor Data Corporation.

- 2007 property owners came from 13 countries. Today that number is at 40.
- Condo prices increased 201% to $380,000
-Townhomes prices increased 204% to $677,000
